Brekstad is the administrative center of the municipality of Orland in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the Trondheim Fjord at the entrance to the Stjør Fjord. It is about 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) south of Uthaug and about 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) west of Austrått and Ottersbo.
